Broja signed his first professional contract with Premier League club Chelsea on February 26, 2020, for a two-year term. On March 8, he made his professional debut in a 4–0 home triumph over Everton, replacing Olivier Giroud as a substitute in the 86th minute.

Broja signed a new five-year contract with the club on July 18, 2021.

Chelsea Football Club Achievements and Rewards spotlighted

Chelsea football club is headquartered in Fulham, London’s western suburbs. They have played their home games at Stamford Bridge since 1905.

The club competes within the Premier League, England’s highest league. In 1955, they earned their first big award, the League title.

The club won the FA Cup for the primary time in 1970, the Cup Winners’ Cup for the primary time in 1971, and also the Club tournament for the third time in 2022, becoming only the third English club to try and do so.

West Ham United Football Team is an English professional football club based in the East London borough of Stratford.

The club competes in English football’s top league, the Premier League. The club moved from its previous home, the Boleyn Ground, to the London Stadium in 2016.

The club began as Thames Ironworks in 1895 and was renamed West Ham United in 1900. They relocated to the Boleyn Ground in 1904, where they remained for over a century.

Before joining the Football League in 1919, the team competed in the Southern and Western Leagues. They were promoted to the top tier in 1923, the same year they were beaten in the first FA Cup Final at Wembley. The club won the first Football League War Cup in 1940.

West Ham has won the FA Cup three times (1964, 1975, and 1980) and finished second twice (1923 and 2006). The club has reached two major European finals, winning the European Cup Winners’ Cup in 1965 and the European Cup Winners’ Cup in 1966.

Current News About Armando Broja

Armando Broja had an… ok… season on loan at Southampton, scoring nine goals in all competitions, but given his age (he turns 21 in September) and his ability to play beyond goals and assists at the highest level, he’s still attracting a lot of interest in the transfer market, and rightly so.

Armando Broja (born September 10, 2001) is a professional footballer who now plays for Chelsea as a forward. He was born in England and currently represents Albania at the international level.

Southampton anticipated this as well, which is why they attempted to force a transfer through in January. We turned them down at the time, and now there’s plenty of competition for the Academy product’s services.

Leading the pack appears to be West Ham United, which may or may not be preparing a £25-30 million bid, which has been speculated for some months.

Gianluca Di Marzio (I’m not sure why he’s leading this story) states that talks are “ongoing,” but that an agreement has “not been reached” and is “not close.” Those talks don’t appear to be taking place at all.

Broja has been linked with a number of clubs, including Nottingham Forest (£35 million rumored), Everton (Super Frankie Lampard loves Chelsea potential; see also: Conor Gallagher, Billy Gilmour), Newcastle (get linked with everyone these days), Inter Milan, and Napoli, just because. In Serie A, there is already a burgeoning Chelsea exclave.

All of that said, even if Broja leaves Chelsea this summer, whether on loan for the third time or permanently for the first time, it’s unlikely to happen before preseason — both because we appear to be moving slowly in the market and because Thomas Tuchel, understandably, wants to make at least a cursory assessment.

According to the source, West Ham is having trouble confirming an asking price with Chelsea due to Todd Boehly’s takeover of exiting owner Roman Abramovich, which has slowed transfer negotiations.

Broja had one Chelsea appearance in 2020, coming on as an 86th-minute substitute, however, he signed a new five-year contract in the summer of 2021.

Broja’s loan arrangement with Saints, which saw the Berkshire-born youngster score four goals in nine games during a purple patch between December and February, did not include a buy-back option for Chelsea.

According to the source, West Ham will step up their efforts to sign Broja, although neither team is close to completing a deal, and Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel will not consider a permanent move before analyzing his player during pre-season.

After completing the transfer of Moroccan defender Nayef Aguerd from Rennes for £30 million on Monday, Hammers manager David Moyes is expected to add to his roster. Moyes’ key positions in central midfield are said to be a striker, a left-back, and cover for Declan Rice and Tomas Soucek.

West Ham is looking to capitalize on their seventh-place performance in the Premier League in 2021-22 and will face a European campaign after qualifying for the Europa Conference League.

Chelsea: Years of Glory

Chelsea: Years of Glory

Years of glory (1961–1978): Let’s look back at Chelsea’s past glory!

In 1961, Ron Greenwood took over as Fenton’s replacement and led the club to two major triumphs, including the FA Cup Final in 1964. Bobby Moore, a young man, headed the team.

The European Cup Winners’ Cup was also won by West Ham. West Ham players played crucial roles in England’s 1966 FIFA World Cup victory, notably captain Bobby Moore, Martin Peters (who scored in the final), and Geoff Hurst, who scored the first and only hat-trick in a men’s World Cup final.

All three players have come through West Ham’s youth system. In Barking Road, outside The Boleyn Tavern, there is a “Champions” statue commemorating West Ham’s “three sons” who helped the club win the 1966 World Cup: Bobby Moore, Geoff Hurst, and Martin Peters. Ray Wilson of Everton is also featured on the statue.

In 1975, they defeated Fulham 2–0 to win the FA Cup. Former England captain Alan Mullery and West Ham icon Bobby Moore were on the Fulham team.

With the moniker “The Academy of Football” covering the ground’s new stadium façade, the club promotes the popular notion of West Ham as “The Academy of Football.”

The remark is mostly directed at the club’s youth development system, which was developed by manager Ted Fenton in the 1950s and has produced a number of international players.

Most notably, the club sent three players to the 1966 World Cup-winning England team, including club legend Bobby Moore, Martin Peters, and Geoff Hurst, who combined to score all of England’s goals in the 4–2 triumph.

Trevor Brooking, Alvin Martin, Tony Cottee, and Paul Ince are among the other academy players who have gone on to play for England.

Rio Ferdinand, Frank Lampard, Joe Cole, Michael Carrick, and Glen Johnson all started their careers with West Ham United in the late 1990s and went on to play for much bigger clubs.

First-teamers Mark Noble and James Tomkins, as well as Welsh international Jack Collison, have all come through the Academy recently. Fans and coaches alike have been frustrated by the club’s inability to keep several of these players owing to (mostly) financial reasons.

During the 2007–08 season, West Ham had an average of 6.61 English players in the starting lineup, more than any other Premier League team, cementing their status as one of the few Premier League clubs left that were recognized as “homegrown” and “bringing through young English talent.”

From 2000 to 2011, the club produced eight England players, one more than Manchester United and one less than Arsenal. Tony Carr, who was West Ham’s youth coach from 1973 until 2014, is credited with much of the Academy’s success.
