Borussia Dortmund has introduced their new home kit for the 2022/23 season, and the players will debut it against Hertha BSC on Saturday.

Just in time for the final game of the current season, Borussia Dortmund released their home kit for the coming season.

Borussia Dortmund Releases Home Kit For Season 2022/23

For weeks, BVB’s home shirt design for the 2022/23 season has been floating online. And the new house kit has arrived.

For the 2022/23 season, Puma has made significant improvements to Borussia Dortmund’s home shirt.

The BVB home shirt will be cyber yellow, as is typical. The shirt has four black vertical stripes on the front. On the neck of the jersey are the words “Borussia verbindet” (Borussia unifies), a strong message against all kinds of discrimination.

The black stripes have a tonal design inspired by the Wildschütz restaurant’s windows, where the club was founded in 1909. Except for a little section towards the back, the crew neck collar is mostly black. The cuffs on the sleeves are wide and black.

The new jersey is available in two versions, with the on-pitch version including ULTRAWEAVE performance fabric and dryCELL sweat-wicking technology, making it the lightest and most comfortable PUMA has ever produced.

The Replica is made of 100% recycled polyester and features dryCELL sweat-wicking technology.

The shirt looks to be based on the outfit worn by Borussia Dortmund in the 2012/13 UEFA Champions League season. That year, the Black and Yellows had an incredible run all the way to the final.

“Different from day one,” says the slogan for Borussia Dortmund‘s home shirt for the 2022/23 season. The home shirt has so far garnered mostly good feedback from fans.

The players of Borussia Dortmund will wear this shirt in the Bundesliga as usual. For the UEFA Champions League and DFB-Pokal, a separate home uniform will be released. In the next weeks, the away kit for the 2022/23 season will be revealed.

MONACO F.C. is another club:

After launching the phrase “Rise. Risk. Repeat.” as part of its new visual identity in May 2021, AS Monaco is doubling down on it for the 2022-23 season, actually embedding it on their home shirts.

The shirt, designed by Kappa, has the club’s iconic diagonal red-and-white split on the front, with tonal pinstripes including the tagline “Rise. Risk. Repeat.”

The white sleeves have a crimson cuff. The Monegasque crown from the club crest is featured on a red insert at the back collar. Inside the collar, the slogan is also printed.

White shorts with red inserts at the hems and red Kappa logos run down either side to go with the shirt.

JUVENTUS FC is yet another club:

For the 2022-23 season, Juventus will update its customary home design of black and white stripes.

The black stripes are made up of triangles this season to reflect the club’s home stadium, Allianz Stadium. The Adidas shoulder stripes, as well as the crew neck collar and sleeve cuffs, are black. On the front, a new logo for sponsor Jeep debuts, with lightning bolts running through the letters.

White shorts with black Adidas stripes along each side and black inserts at the hems complement the shirt.

The socks are white with black Adidas stripes on the cuffs, a triangle hoop to match the shirt, a Juventus crest on the front, and a Juventus crest on the back.
